faq

Am I able to run the course before the event?

No, the course will not be accessable before the event.

How fit or skilled do I need to be?

The Mud Run is accessible to all runners with the correct preparation. If you haven't been for a run recently, now's the time to get training. If you are uncomfortable with any obstacle, you can skip it, but there will be a 10 minute time penalty for every obstacle missed.

How will I know where to go on the course?

The course will be marked with brightly coloured markers for easy guidance. Marshalls will also be positioned at critical points along the course for extra guidance when it is needed. The trail outline and markings will be discussed at the briefing prior to the commencement of the event.

What do I need for the Mud Run?

Just yourself! Wear some old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. A good suggestion is to buy some clothes from the Salvation Army which you won't mind throwing away at the end of the event (please make sure you take all your rubbish and old clothes with you when you leave). Closed shoes must be worn, so get out those old runners that you don't mind getting muddy. There will be water available along the course.
